Silla Desnuda

Vestir la Silla Desnuda (Dressing the Naked Chair), is an exhibition proposal by the curator Silvia García Camps. She invited seven fashion designers to dress the Silla Desnuda, a chair designed in 1973 by Carles Riart and conceived to be dressed by the user.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the chair, Luis Cerveró, publisher of Terranova, compiled archive material and transcribed a meeting with Carles Riart. Together with the photographs of the interventions and the documentation of the invited designers, we propose a publication which replicates the same exercise proposed by Riart in his chair: dressing the publication with a set of independent covers, layers and accessories.
